Shrek lives alone in his swamp. Due to Lord Faquard's desicion to send every single fairy creature there he has to rescue Princess Fiona to be given back his land.
Shrek and Fiona return from their honeymoon. After their arrival, they receive an invitation from Fiona's parents to give them their blessing. They will have to travel to Far Away land.
Fiona's father dies and Far Away kingdom needs a new kind. Shrek does not want to be king so he travels to find another heir. In addition, at his return he will find three surprises.
2007 Picking up where Shrek the Third left off, Shrek is doing his best to get into the Christmas spirit. Having promised Fiona and the kids that this will be the best Christmas ever, the loveable ogre realizes that in order to succeed, he'll have to take a crash course in the holiday. His noble efforts are soon complicated, however, when Christmas arrives and old friends Donkey, Puss in Boots, Gingy and the rest of the gang decide to drop in for a surprise visit.
